Recently, our team launched several enhancements aimed at streamlining and improving the way providers determine their path forward for new agreements. This section of the site allows organizations to build scenarios, look at the impact of those decisions and plan how to achieve the custom value that makes sense for their organization. If you were unable to attend our training webinar that reviewed the changes, here is an overview of what is now available and how it can benefit users.
New Tool Bar
At the top of the Purchase Planning page, a new toolbar has been added allowing users to toggle on/off micro-charts allowing the ability to view more products within the page. In addition, new stackable filters have been added when viewing the product details within purchase planning. As you layer in additional filters, you also have the option to remove them individually or to clear all. Existing “Edit” features have been moved into the new tool bar providing the ability to lock and allocate by supplier.
Allocation Design Changes
Replacing our original “drag and drop” feature is a new Single Click allocation option which will instantly take you to 100%. Upon a 2nd click, the split allocation drop down menu will appear.
CQVA Input Integrated into the RFP Process
While we’ve seen a rapid rise in adoption with value analysis users, those who are designated that role can now make clinical decisions on crosses within the scope of an RFP. This allows them to influence the purchase planning process and their recommendations will be fed into the product catalog in the platform. Note that if a cross is disputed by someone in the organization, the allocation becomes disabled and will need to be reallocated to an approved product.
Buyer Cross Reference Search and Add
A new cross may be added to the incumbent product within purchase planning by searching for the corresponding Manufacturer Catalog Number after clicking on “Add Cross”. If the user is a designated Value Analysis role, the cross will automatically be listed as an approved cross. If the user is not, it will be added but not auto-approved.
