Preview the hot topics and expert panels featured at our upcoming event.
With just one month to go, we are busy preparing for our 2nd annual user forum, access19. We are excited to bring healthcare providers, suppliers, and clinicians together to share the keys to success from industry-leading organizations and supply chain experts.
What exactly will be happening at this brief but impactful event?
First, we will kick it off with our Keynote Speaker, Jim Churchman – Vice President of System Supply Chain for MedStar Health. With over $5B in annual net operating value, 8,000 nurses, and 5,000 physicians, this industry giant has made tremendous strides in their clinically aligned supply chain and established themselves as a thought leader in healthcare. We are looking forward to hearing about their approach and efforts that have led to successfully aligning their organization while delivering top notch care and value.
Interactive Panels
Also on the agenda are two panel discussions where experts from the industry will elaborate on trends they are observing, plus how their organization leverages data and technology to overcome challenges and stay ahead of the curve.
The first panel will be focused on the Clinical Quality Value Analysis (CQVA) process and how stakeholders from multiple sides of the table perceive clinical alignment, how teams can use data to drive discussions, and how organizations can prioritize internal initiatives. One of our panel members is a Clinical Value Analyst for Mayo Clinic – an organization that is revered for their early approach to integrating value analysis into their supply chain process.
While it’s extremely valuable to hear the provider perspective and learn about their key strategies, our second panel will help attendees explore the other side of the coin – how suppliers are tackling challenges in a competitive and dynamic industry. We will chat with three leading executives from Smith & Nephew, Medtronic and Zimmer-Biomet to gain insight into how they are currently leveraging data to build strategic partnerships plus ways we can come together as an industry to move forward with new and innovative approaches.
The physician perspective
With a healthcare provider group executive, a CQVA panel, and a supplier discussion on the docket, we round out the event by hearing the perspective of Dr. Marty Lucenti, presenting to event attendees a physician’s point of view on clinical alignment and innovating the supply chain.
Our wholistic group of presenters will allow attendees to gain insight into opportunities for their own organization – and to discuss as an industry how we can advance the healthcare supply chain.
To conclude the event, the aptitude technology team will present our latest and greatest features in the platform – innovations that are aimed at helping providers and suppliers address their unique needs and leverage data to build trust and strategic partnerships.
With so many experts and executives participating, you may be wondering the cost of attending such a valuable session. access19 is a precursor to the Fall IDN Summit and is FREE to attend.
